It’s been a great few weeks for Spark Interact, with another recognition to celebrate.

Following our recent finalist announcement in the 2026 Finder Innovation Awards, Spark has also been named a Regional Finalist for Excellence in Small Business at the 2026 Sydney Business Awards.

The awards were held on 10 September 2026, bringing together businesses from across Sydney for an evening celebrating their achievements and the people behind them.

Recognised for excellence in small business

Run by Business NSW, the Business Awards recognise businesses across the state for their achievements, resilience and contribution to their communities.

Spark was named a finalist in the Excellence in Small Business (6–20 Employees) category, which recognises businesses that have effectively driven growth and implemented strategies contributing to business success and resilience.

For us, being selected as a finalist is a meaningful recognition of another year of growth, collaboration and great work across the team.

From strategy and branding to web design, development and digital marketing, everything we deliver brings together different people and expertise across Spark. Being recognised among other businesses from across Sydney is something the whole team can be proud of.

A small team with end-to-end capabilities

As a Sydney-based digital agency, Spark brings strategy, creative and technology together within one team. We work across branding, web design and development, digital marketing, SEO and content, supporting clients from the early stages of an idea through to launch and ongoing growth.

Being a small team is an important part of how we work. It allows different disciplines to collaborate closely, keeps communication direct and means our clients work with people who understand both their business and the broader project.

For us, being recognised in the Excellence in Small Business category makes this finalist announcement particularly meaningful. It celebrates not only what we deliver, but the business and team we’ve built behind it.

Celebrating Sydney’s business community

Mac and Kath attended the Sydney Business Awards on behalf of Spark, joining fellow finalists and businesses from a wide range of industries.

Beyond the awards themselves, the evening was an opportunity to meet some interesting people, learn more about the businesses behind them and enjoy a few surprises along the way, including some seriously impressive magic.

It was a great night to step away from the day-to-day, make new connections and celebrate the work being done by businesses across Sydney.

Another milestone for the Spark team

Being named a Regional Finalist follows Spark’s recent recognition as a finalist for Best UX Innovation in the 2026 Finder Innovation Awards, making it an especially memorable few weeks for the team.

While the two awards recognise different areas, both are moments we’re proud to share with the people who make our work possible.
